There are no words to describe how much of a fan we are of Dannijo jewelry. Just check out our style articles, like Micro and Jumbo Prints and Dissecting Leandra Medine’s Signature Man Repeller Style, to see how we incorporated the brand’s fun jewelry into some of our styled looks.
Always colorful and playful with a healthy dose of some serious glam, the signature baubles designed by sisters Danielle and Jodie Snyder are usually our go-to for accessories.
Although it seems like Dannijo has been around forever, the jewelry brand has just passed their five year mark.  And to celebrate their five successful years in the jewelery business, Dannijo has released a limited-edition capsule collection.
Comprised of 2 flowery pairs of earrings, a crystal bracelet and 3 multi-layered necklaces, individual items from the limited-edition collection are currently retailing from $295 to $425, which is a steal compared to their regular price range.
Click here to shop the entire collection.

Last year, we suggested treating dad to an old-fashioned shave for Father’s Day. This year, we’re taking it a step further, offering up some marvelous, manly spa treatments for those fathers who aren’t afraid to get “Mansome” (Jason Bateman and Will Arnett were brave enough, after all).
And really, what guy wouldn’t want a luxurious hot shave or a cooling, age-defying facial? So check out the following MO approved spas, all of which offer fanastic father-friendly services on their menu.

A woman stops another woman on the street and says, “I absolutely adore your skirt.” The woman wearing the skirt, proudly replies, “Thank you, I sprayed it!”
Thanks to Fabrican, a spray-on non-woven fabric, this scenario may soon become a reality.
Invented by fashion designer Manel Torres, who had his fabric-spraying epiphany while watching someone being sprayed with Silly String, Fabrican mixes tiny fiber particles with liquid polymer and delivers the fabric via aerosol can. The resulting effect is a non-sticking durable fabric that you can spray on, and it can be washed, reworn and can even be dissolved and reused.
With a limitless potential that extends beyond fashion (seriously, we have a sofa that greatly would benefit from a spray-on upholstery job), the medical field and industrial design field are equally as excited.
But for those that like to get crafty, Fabrican will soon be marketed to art and craft consumers.
We’re totally counting down the days until this nifty spray arrives at our local art store. Until then, we have this video that explains how this magical fabric works.

Tabitha Simmons and TOMS Team Up for a Collection of Printed Espadrilles

Fresh off of the heels of a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund collaboration with J.Crew, Tabitha Simmons, shoe designer and BFA award winner, has teamed up with TOMS to create a footwear collection.

Incorporating Tabitha’s playful and whimsical design, the TOMS + Tabitha Simmons collection will feature florals, paisley and polka dots with some of the shoes lined with “I love u” text.

Each pair of shoes from the women’s and children’s collection will retail from $124 to $168.

Following TOMS “one for one” approach, each shoe purchased will give a child in need a new pair, which makes us love this collab even more than we already do.

Try it and Buy It: Retailers Want to Charge You to To Try On Shoes

I love shoes. You love shoes. We all love shoes. The great Carrie Bradshaw said it best, “I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes!”

Haven’t we all felt this way? Perhaps after splurging on an expensive pair without inhibitions, we have often felt that our love for shoes has reached an unhealthy level.

Showrooming, a practice that brick-and-mortar stores want to end, could change it all.

What does showrooming mean, exactly? You know how you go to your local shoe store to try on that perfect pair of shoes?  It fits perfectly, but the price doesn’t. You  know you can  find that exact same shoe cheaper, and as a result, you go home and scour the internets for a more reasonable price? Yep, that is call showrooming, my friends.

And yes, we’ve all done it before, whether for an iPad or your next shoe obsession.

According to WWD, in an effort to combat showrooming, a group of independent show retailers want to charge you a shoe-fitting fee ranging from $5 to $25. That means for each shoe you try on, it will cost you a minimum of $5.  And for someone like us, that tries on multiple pairs of shoes for the perfect pair, you could easily rack up more than $100 without even purchasing a shoe.

We wonder is this new practice might hurt brick-and-mortar retailers even more.

What do you think about try-on fees? Would a $5 to $25 try on fee  discourage you from buying your shoes at stores?

Prada remembers the ‘60s and New Wave Cinema in their latest ad campaign starring actors Ezra Miller, Christoph Waltz and Ben Whishaw.
Their fall 2013 ad, photographed by David Sims, features each actor—posing as a different movie character—against the background of a detailed architectural wall and mid-century furniture, and we think it’s pretty groovy.
Prada proves that the ‘60s trend in fashion is still having its moment.
